I need four Gibson Consolette legs, and would prefer not to rout / modify. A store in town said they believed the threads look like old mike stands. I'm coming up with 5/16ths".

Why not take it to a machine shop and have them make you a set? They can measure the thread and make the legs at the same time. My old Gibson has the originals and a new set. Believe me, the new set gets the use and the originals are only in the case because they are "the originals".
