I got this and decided that it could sound good with some work, so I got a good cone, a cast aluminum spider and an ebony topped nut and started to work. All the glue and such in the body cavity was sanded out, I cleaned up all contact points and followed the Stewmac instructions to make the spider contact the cone properly. After I got it done I took it to Midtown Music in Atlanta and we all pretty much were astounded at how much louder and nicer it sounded, it compared favorably to the Gold Tone/Beard guitars they had in stock. I also got a Larrivee/Etuis Boblen case to put it in, though it is a dreadnought case and I have to use towels to make it fit; it is a really pricey case otherwise. One of the latches is broken but I have a replacement to fix it. If you want the guitar and the case I'll let it go for $350, or just the guitar in a Fender chipboard dreadnought case for $300. 678-528-3425
PS normally I am open to trades but my truck is in desperate need of repairs so I need cash- otherwise I'd keep it.
