Fender "White" Lap Steel and Matching Amp.

OK, Lap steel players and collectors. As the title of this post suggests, this is a Fender "White" lap steel guitar with matching "White" amp. The instrument and amp are in better than very good condition for their age but not mint. Everything is original except the tuner buttons. The set plays well, but the pots are just a little scratchy. The guitar has a number of small dings but no gouges or scratches. The chrome on the guitar is complete but needs pollishing. The tuning machines function well but need lubrication. Original hardshell case matches the amp. Case latches are all functonal, one sprung. One of the legs has lost some chrome, but this area faces the inside and is not visible when assembled. The amp sounds pure mid-50s Fender. Scotty's has one of these lap steels listed on his site for $750, and it's nearly impossibe to find any 50's Fender amp for under $700. I'd like $1200 plus shipping and insurance. This set is a real piece of Fender history. I think the photos tell most of the story. Payment by cashier's check, money order.
