Well there’s a big part of me that hates to sell this fine guitar, but here goes.

Fessenden S-12 Universal, Laquer, 8/4, triple raise/triple lower. It’s a Caramel color faded into natural Birdseye Maple. Jerry built it for me in 1998 and it really hasn’t been played much at all. It’s playing time has been spent at home other than about 20 times at church. It’s been in the case for the last 3 years. This guitar is about as close to new condition as you’ll find to be 7 years old!!

It has a Pitman pickup that was modeled after the Danny Shields CT-12. It sounds just like the CT-12 to me. Fessenden’s are known for great tone/sustain and this one is no exception!! It sounds and plays great!

It comes with a carpet covered wood case, rod/leg bag & tuning wrench. It did not come with and DOES NOT have a cover.

The only flaw on the guitar is in the finish where the original name label “Fessenden Guitar Company” is located. The label was put on before the laquer was applied and it started to peel at one corner which caused the laquer to peel also. Jerry was going to refinish the guitar but I didn’t want him to go to all that trouble so I made a new name tag and put it over the original. The name tag was applied to a thin piece of maple and then laqured. I then glued it over the original and it blends in very well. The original is still on the guitar, just covered, and no altercations were done to the body whatsoever.

Since the guitar is still in nearly new condition and has had very little playing time, the price will be $1750 firm. This will include UPS ground shipping & insurance within the US. I figured I would try it here before I take it to Ebay.

I have pictures I can email as well as the pedal/knee lever setup but I don’t know how to post them on here.

Man, that's a fine looking Horn, and a Fessy too. If I weren't guitar poor I would certainly take it.

Guys this is a really nice guitar! Sidney is a good guy to deal with is probably only parting with this guitar to spend more time with his MSA Millenium.
