i have a 1952 fender double 8 steel guitar that i'm selling it's walnut, and has three legs and the original tweed case, which is missing the handle. the guitar is in good original condition, except that both of the pickups need to be rebuilt. jason lollar charges $110. each to do the work. everything else is good. the legs all work fine for standing or sitting. the decal on the front is in good shape. i think that the tone pot has been replaced, but it has the original knobs. when i got the guitar, one of the tuner plates had the nut sawed off, and replaced with a lucite nut. i've replaced it with a good tuner assembly, and the old one with 8 godd tuners comes with the guitar for spares.
$500, plus shipping. i'm trying to get a good 7 string steel, so let me know if you have something to trade. i have lots of photos i can send.
thanks, john |

The $10K B-I-N isn't much funnier than the $5K opening Bid. Imagine how much is cost that guy in eBAy insertion fees to look stupid in front of the whole world...
