I have a 1951 Fender Custom for sale. All three pickups were rewound/remagged last year by Lindy Fralin, and sound amazing. Clear and bright like a Fender should.

I disconnected the toggle switch that activates all three necks and the volume pot and put a new solid shaft one meg pot in for the tone control. The adjustable legs no longer adjust, but could be fixed I'm sure. I play sitting, so that never bothered me.

The brown finish is not original, but it's an older refinish that looks good. The date, 5/51, is written under all three necks. The original Fender tweed case works great, but was painted blue and had "The Rhythm Kings" stencilled on it. You could take most of the paint off if you are patient, alot of it has already flaked off. I kind of like it.

I'll post pictures later tonight. I hate to see this one go, but I only ever play my D-8.

$900, shipping included in the lower 48.

I'm gonna keep this one a little while longer, no longer for sale.

To clarify to those who where confused, the three way "blade" pickup selector switch IS hooked up. It's the two way toggle switch that simultaniously activates all three necks that is not wired. It was in my way and I never used it.
