Well i got the Marlen to sell/trade to moce up from. let me tell ya'll about it.

In Perfect Store Display Condition for real!
>Birdseye Maple body with greenish transparent stain, 'Sho-Bud' type patterns around the body with lacquer finsih.
> all metal surfaces are polished and perfect
> S10 E9 on single body
>3P + 4K Emmons
>George L E-99 PU
>Groover Keys
>Hard wood push pro case in excellent shape

I will send close up, clear digital pictures upon request.

I want to sell and put toward a E9 DB Derby. Mullens, CARTER or ZUMM.

Looking for opinions on what to buy?

who feels the Marlen is as good as the above?

PS...If it plays well, and looks good, I would keep it ...There won't be any more made, and they have a great tone all to themselves....

is there a way i can publish the pictures on the forum?

i do not mine if it is poosiblle. anyone wanting pictures email me.

i do not have it back to my house yet. only have seen detailed digital closeup pictures. real detialed like with a marco lens and its nice.

does anyone know the Marlen history.,. please contact me via email.

I have never played a Marlen,but I have heard several and they sound very good to me.Just do what your heart tells you to do my friend..New steels are fun

Hey Billy. Play the Marlen for a little while and then see if you want to sell it. If you have a good one It's worth keeping.

If this is the green Marlen recently sold on Ebay, with NV 400 and seat, the amp, seat and volume pedal are worth about 475. So the steel cost about 900 or a little less. It would probably sell, retail, for a little more than that, depending on the mechanical condition. This is just my opinion, based on observations over the last few years. If the guitar is in good condition and works properly, I would keep it and play it until I found one that I realy HAD to have. It looks like a very nice guitar.

Billy,i emailed you,suppose you got it?thanks for the pictures,yep very pretty,looks exactly like the one that was on ebay!to bad its a single,and not a SD10,would be worth more.I agree play it,or don't turn down 950 offer,thats about tops for it. it is very pretty tho.
