I am selling my 1997 carter single.this is one great playing guitar, I am selling because I can't play 3 at one time according to my wife." I hate it when she's right"This guitar cost $1840.00 new in 1997, and in todays money would be well over $ 2000.00. I am the second owner, and this thing is in great shape. I forgot to add, This guitar has 4 pedals and 5 knee levers , and has the Day setup with tne Franklin change on the 4th pedal

Oh I don't think so...I just bought a mint SD-10 3&5 BMI from a dealer for $895. so this will be a perfect mate. Stay tuned for my D-10 sales. I'm lightening the load. S-10's from now on...

I don't think so...I recently bought a BMI SD-10 3&5 from a dealer for $895. .This pre-BCT Carter will be a good mate. Stay tuned for my massive D-10 sale! I need lighter guitars these days...

Dave,you got a good deal on the BMI also.I don`t know why but the BMI`s seem to sell for a lot less than they are worth.I had a mint S-10 and sold it and have been sorry ever since.I agree on the heavy D-10,WAY Too heavy for my size,back and age.john

And Johns Loss was my gain. I bought the BMI S-10 from John and have been as happy as John is remorseful. This is a great guitar.

In all seriousness if you ever have an occasion to do business with John you're dealing with a fair and honest fellow. John I hope to see you at Saluda in Feb.
