Offered for sale a Fessenden D-10 8x7. The steel was 15 months old when I bought it in December 2003. Here is part of the original advertisement that appeared in the Forum Buy & Sell last December:
"High gloss Black mica.Cast end plates and necks this option is several hundred dollars I'm told.8 pedals and 7 knees.Pittman pickups,A copy of the old Danny Shields pickups.Killer sound. The case is well built and looks brand new."
Since then there have been a few bar dings, and one mishap where one of the stops for the raising nylon tuners on the 4th string of the C6 neck was slightly bent on the lower left hand corner. As far as I have been able to determine, this has not affected its playability at all.
Price for steel and case is $1800+shipping. I have several pictures available, upon request, and can take them from any angle you request.
If interested, or if you have further questions, please respond to dunc1957@optonline.net. This is an old email address, but I no longer post mine on the Forum due to my being spammed to pieces evey time I do.
Thanks, Duncan[This message was edited by Duncan Hodge on 09 November 2004 at 05:01 PM.] |

A bump for my buddy, Duncan. Is there a ZB on its way down to central FLA?? Hey Brian, drop me an email about the Sho Bud; I don't think my emails have been getting through. Good luck moving the Fessy, Duncan. [This message was edited by Andrew Buhler on 10 November 2004 at 12:50 PM.] |

Thanks Brian and Andrew for the support. You know, if I had never sold you both my original beautiful ZB then I wouldn't have had to resort to this drastic action. In answer to your question Andrew, I think another really beautiful ZB will be heading this way if I can get something reasonable for the Fessenden.

You know folks, I may be selling the wrong steel. The copedent for the Fessenden is close to the one on the ZB I'm looking at getting. I guess I gotta sell the old Speedy West Marlen instead. I'll leave this post up for a little while longer though.
Thanks for lookin' Duncan[This message was edited by Duncan Hodge on 11 November 2004 at 06:01 PM.] [This message was edited by Duncan Hodge on 11 November 2004 at 06:02 PM.] |

This fine steel is on it's way to its new home in France. Parlez Vous? b0b you can close it down, and I'll get the donation out to the forum soon. Thanks to everyone who took the time to look.
