A music store has had a 14 string Sierra sitting around for some time. I asked a sales person about it. He told me basically that it was taking up space and that he was eagger to get rid of it, knew nothing about it, or its value. He said make me an offer. It sounds like it could be picked up real cheap. I am a relative beginner, and have not inspected it or played it, but it looked in really good condition, I did move one of the knee levers and it felt really good, though the one thing I did see was that all the levers had duct tape on them (some kind of padding?) Assuming this beast was in good working order would this be a worth while investment? ( I already have a new Carter U12 and a sho bud) Jim

Yes Ronald, the way the guy I spoke with sounded , they were ready to give it away..to good to be true. Anyway I took another look at it after lunch. It is a beautiful guitar 5p and had 2 vertical knee levers, among others, and the ones I pushed were real smooth. I know that store used to come down off their initial prices and would "cut a deal", if so this could be a real good one for someone, Jim

Very true. This is a cd that you can ALWAYS enjoy listening to. It just doesn't go stale.

Back to the Sierra. If you're thinking of buying it on a whim because it's a good deal, consider this; a 14 stringer is not the easist steel to sell should you decide that it's not for you.
