I’m offering my maroon colored lacquer MSA SS CLASSIC D-10 for sale. It is has 8 pedals & 4 knees. The E9 is the Day setup & the C6 is standard 5 pedals & 1 knee. This guitar has some bar dings. Most of them are between the necks. They were there when I bought this guitar 5 years ago. To prevent further dinging and also to cover up the existing ones, I formed a small piece of amp carpet to fit between the necks. I have some pics of this guitar, most without the before mentioned carpet & 1 with the carpet in place. I recently replaced all the nylon tuning nuts. I couldn’t find the short ones like was originally on the guitar, so I bought long ones & cut them to length. After cutting these nylon nuts almost in half, there are enough pieces left over to replace most of them again. I will include these with the guitar. The pedal rods are homemade. I made new ones because the ones that came with the guitar were really short. I replaced the original SS pickup on the E9 neck with a Wallace True Tone pickup. I still have the SS pickup & will include it with the guitar. The outside of the case to this guitar is well worn, but is still very solid. The inside of the case is still in good condition. I took a lot of pictures of the guitar, but I didn’t think to take any of the case. If anybody wants pics of the case, I’ll take some. This is a really nice vintage guitar as my pics will attest. I’m asking $1100.00. Click this link for pics: http://www.villagephotos.com/pubbrowse.asp?selected=1009955 I have more pics that I can email to anyone who is interested.

The serial # is 2C-6345. I contacted Reece Anderson and he sent me the following info:

“Serial number 2C-6345 shows to be a double 10 SS which was originally shipped to Rhodes Music. Sorry but I can't remember where they were located. It left the factory with 8 pedals and 4 knee levers. Although the date of manufacture was not entered I would guess-ti-mate it was made in early 1981.”

Thanks,
Ed

I own a twin to this guitar and I love it. These were precision made and will mechanically and cosmetically stand up against any modern steel guitar. Mine has 8 knee levers so the bottom side is really full, and it still plays like a dream. This is a good price too.

Thanks to all who responded. I wish I had six more guitars just like this one. I could have sold them all in one day. This forum is great!!!

Thanks again,
