Sorry John,
I should have specified in my title "Carter Starter"
You guys make an excellent starter for the price.
John just curious, was it your idea or Bud's bringing to the market a the starter with 4 and 3? [This message was edited by Dan Burnham on 07 August 2004 at 04:40 AM.] |

Dan:
The concept of the Carter-Starter as a 3 Pedals, 4 Knee Levers, entry-level pedal steel guitar was mine.
And, most of the design of the Carter-Starter was also mine with some input from Bud Carter.
I also designed and developed the manufacturing process.

John,
you did an excellent guitar. The carter starters give the beginners all the need. Excellent job on the idea. I only wish they were around when I started, I would have got one then. I have owned one in the past and have nothing but praise regarding the guitar. For the money it's excellent.
Thanks! |
