I keep adding to my list of gospel tabs and I just did a count.

As of this date, I'm up to 265 gospel songs tabbed out in E9th.

If you would like to look over what I have available, just let me know and I will e-mail you a list.

I offer a free gospel tab every month but if you would like to order a bunch, they are available for $1.00 each, plus postage.

Let's all make a joyful noise!
[This message was edited by Erv Niehaus on 27 October 2006 at 11:58 AM.]

Check you e-mails.

Harvey,
I just got back the e-mail I sent to you. Do you have your spam set up too tight? I'll just include the list along with this month's free tab.

WOW thats a lot of tabs,
got mine and my wifes favorites picked out and will put your money in the mail first thing in the morning,
that done, now let me say this :
for all the beginers. if you are just begining to learn the steel, you need to pick out one of Erv's tabs that you know from church these tabs are great for learning the steel. here is why:
(1) you already know what its supposed to sound like (2) he includes the words with the tab ( it helps me to know the words to what i am trying to learn) (3) Erv's tabs are very very good tabs

Calvin,
Thanks soooooooo much for the kind words.

Yes, you are right, when the lyrics are on the tabs it makes them easier to play. It also helps a lot with getting your timing correct.

I should also mention that some of my tabs seem to be written in some odd key signatures, like 4 or 5 flats.
There is a reason for this. For the most part, the songs are taken from church hymnals and I tab them in the same keys as they are written in in the hymnals. That way, if you are asked to play in church, the pianist or organist can accompany you.
