I believe this was used on Buck Owens' "Let The World Keep On A Turnin'". I play it here in F# to take advantage of the sound of the open 2nd string. There's two other ways to get the same lick at any fret. One way is to just lower the 2nd string a whole tone where I show the 2nd string open. The other way is to grab the 5th string with pedal A engaged (same note). These will all sound slightly different.
