I would like to know the best way to post audio samples. I have never down this before and would like to know how one goes about doing this, or where to look to read up on it.
Rick Aiello, I have never had a prolem with your audio samples, how are you doing it? Thanks |

I just upload the song to my website or personal webspace.
I use FTP Explorer for the transfer ...
and I convert to .mp3 from .wav/digital audio/etc. with Musicmatch.
80 kbps for longer songs keeps the file generally under 2 MB although some fidelity is lost ... but on those old 78's it's no biggie. 128 kbps is pretty standard ... but on 3+ minute tunes ... you are talkin' a pretty big file to download.

Is it possible to go directly from a tape player using a headset jack into a PC using a microphone jack and record without blowing anything up? I had some tapes that I wanted to get into WAV. |
