Hey. I've been working on the Lloyd Green Solo from Six Days on The Road (from the Live At Panther Hall record by Charley Pride). I think I've got it down. There's one thing I'm not quite sure of though; It's the sweet lick that everyone cheers after; in the second bar of the eight bar solo.
My guess is this:
-13~~~--12g-\-11g--
--------------------
--------------------
--------------------
-13-13A-12A-\-11A--
I'll post the whole thing when I'm done too if anyone's interested. It's one of my favourite steel solos.

I just saw this ancient post for the first time, and while it may have been answered correctly with tab it still seems a little fuzzy to me. Anyway, for the very few who are interested in this tiny bit of the past here’s how I played that “run”.
The entire first part of the steel solo (including 3 pickup notes) is played on the 5th string starting on the 8th fret, all the way to the 15th fret, then the last part is played on the 13th fret with the “A” pedal pressed, striking the 1st & 5th strings and simultaneously releasing the “A” pedal as I slanted the bar backwards to the 12th fret for string 1… as string 5 remains on the 13th fret… while striking the two strings again as the bar is being slanted backwards.
It’s not difficult to do…..as long as you don’t drop your bar or sprain your wrist.

P.S. I use "sl" to mean slide into the note and "p" means pedal into the note. I find itn reduces clutter while still indicating precise phrasing and grace notes.
