Here is a very simple arrangement of Chopin's Prelude No7 for E9 Pedal Steel.

It's major shortcoming is the absence of good deep bass notes at the end of each phrase,(not noticeable if you've got other people playing with you).

The timing should be fairly straight forward so long as my timing numbers under the Tab print out OK.

I hope it's useful and maybe inspire a few people to post other less usual bits and pieces here.

Nice arrangement Michael, thanks. Any other "unusual" tabs? I have an arrangement of this prelude by Francisco Tarrega in D for classical guitar with some beautiful voicings. I've made an attempt to tab it for pedal steel in the same key but got stuck due to my inexperience I guess. If you would like a copy of the standard notation for tabbing please let me have your fax number. If you are looking to tab other classical guitar pieces I might be able to help you with sheet music.

Thanks for the nice arrangement Michael. As I was playing it this evening, my wife, the classical pianist, was listening and advised me that the chord on beats 1&2 of measure 12 should be slightly arpeggiated and also held with a slight pause in tempo. (Classical term: fermata, my music teacher called it a "Bird's Eye" because of how the symbol over the held note looks). Its great to see these kind of pieces arranged for steel. I'm working a simple Bach chorale melody and will post soon.
Thanks again Michael.
