I think you will enjoy playing this month's selection. It is the old gospel song: "Abide With Me".
This hymn was written in the 1800's by Henry Lyte and was inspired by the words of the two disciples met by Jesus on the road to Emmaus: "Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent" (Luke 24:29).
I have already sent this tab out to a few of you steelers but thought some more of you might like to give "praises to the Lord" by playing this great old hymn.
Just make your request know and i will get it in the mail for you.
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord!
Erv

I was one of the lucky ones to get this one early and it is really beautiful. Those of you who may be newbies like me, try this one, it is challenging but very rewarding when you learn it.

George & Bobby,
I'll get your tabs in the mail today.

David,
Sure good to hear that you liked my tab on this song. It really gives me a blessing to take an old hymn like this and make it available to those of us who like to "give praises to the Lord on an instrument of 10 strings". As David will attest to, it is tabbed in full chordal melody with ALL 3 string grips.
After all, isn't that why they put all those pedals and levers on these things!
