I use Tabledit for all my tab writing. It has some steel guitar tab writing capabilities. Of course it's more for fretted instruments, which is my specialty.

Inuse clictab all the time, and I like it a lot. After a short learning curve, you can make pretty nice tab sheets with it, faster than writing by hand.
