Does anyone here know any background info on the recording of Brent Mason's "Hot Wired" tune? Did he speed it up afterwards or something? Or did PF tune up his steel to F, or use some kind of capo? I studied his solo last night, and it's clear that, at least I, can only play it in the key of A on E9.

Brent told me that they recorded it in A. When listening to it later he felt it should be a touch quicker, so he speeded the track with Paul's solo a half step. He then tuned his guitar up a half step and redid his ride.
There you have it.
