Can anyone tell me where I can find the tab for the steel work in Gene Watson's version of "A Way to Survive"?
Thanks guys.

It's on Rebel & Ricky's site -- try 1995. |

I believe the version on Ricky and Rebel's website is Darrel McCall's. |

Thanks guys, but the version there is Buddy Emmons. That's not the one I need. I'm not sure who played on the record. |

I know that version sounds a little different but I'm sure that's Buddy. I've heard that it wasn't unusual for Buddy to tweak an intro/turn, etc., even between sessions of the same recording project.
I'm sure he could clear this up for us. |

Randy, we're talking about two different artists, Darrell McCall and Gene Watson. |

What's really confusing is that Buddy played on both sessions.

I've only heard the intro on the Darrell McCall version, but I absolutely love the steel on Gene Watson's. He also played on Ray Price's version, right? And then he's recorded it twice, himself, I believe, a studio and a live version. Do you think he knows the tune? |
