This is a lick that moves from F to C, usually when the song is in C but I guess would work in other places too. You could even use it for the start of an intro in the key of C. I don't know how to describe the timing exept to say that it would start on the second beat of a four count measure. The last C chord would hit on the first beat of the next measure. This is writen using the lever that lowers the B to Bb and the "A" pedal in combination. You could play the same thing using 1/2 "A" pedal instead of the combination above if it's easier for you.

Hi Ken- nice lick. Different way to get E minor, D minor, and C minor (though the C minor sounds a titch strange to my ears there). Is your 2nd string tuned to a D or are you lowering it a half tone?

Jim, thanks for the comment. My 2nd string is tuned to Eb. I admit, it's sort of a strange lick. If the "A" pedal knee lever combo doesn't sound right to you at the 3rd fret, then just play it without the lever. When I play it, I think that I may let off the lever just after I slide to the 3rd fret.
Hope this helps.
I forgot to mention that the "~~" lines indicate a slide.
