Tab in 6 string lap format

I've noticed that most of the tab posted here has been in 10 string pedal format. I rarely see any in 6 string lap format. Is that because it can't be played? Or is it difficult to play on a 6 string lap steel? I usually try to figure out a lot of Emily Robison's Dobro licks on my Telecaster until I get my lap steel built and tuned into open G("Without You" is easier in open G).

Corwin--VERY few non-pedal and resonator gtr tabs pop up around here. It's too bad because I need all the help I can get.

Here is a nice little site that I found to get some six string tab. Most have audio links as well.
