This is a very cool lick I stumbled across when messing around. Can anyone help me figure figure out what to do with it?

Well that would be A/Amin/E.
So you would play that as a 4 than 4minor back to the 1 chord. So any song with that chord structure would work. Or it is a nice like by itself if used in the right spot of passing by chords.

Nice chromatic movement. Sounds like intro or turnaround going A-D7-E or A-F-E or A-Ebdim-E.
I added some tab to show one way back to A
