The intro and break for this are on the 1956 page on Ricky and I's site. Now we just need somebody to tab them out for us as Ricky is on tour!!
Any takers, guys??? If so, email them to me as Notepad text files and will put them on the site. Thanks!

This may or may not be in the ballpark for the Steel Break. It is for E9.
The pickup was written as below in the belief that the F lever 4th string raise did not yet exist. I otherwise would have assumed it to be as added below ****. I continued this assumption in the rest of it.
Can anyone tell me when the F lever was first used?
Also, use your ears for the pedalling into notes thing--I don't like to tab that stuff--it's too much a matter of feeling to notate. And double also, the metric notation is very loose, not taking into account the triplet feel which I am too lazy to try to notate.
Mr. Emmons, I sure would love your input on this attempt.

ok--I know I said no F lever allowed but I can't for the life of me find any other way to play this. It sounds right but I thought the F lever didn't get used until Divorce. HELP!!

This bar slant would work. And may even be right!

Well, first of all, with thanks to Kenny Dail, this is how the intro goes--
1---------------------------------------|
2---------------------------------------|
3---------------------------------------|
4----17~~~~~14-------10~~10-------5~~5--|
5----17A~~~13A-------10~~10A------5~~5A-|
6----17B~~12B--------10~~10B------5~~5B-|
7---------------------------------------|
8---------------------------------------|
And, with thanks to Kenny and Buddy, everything else I tabbed is wrong. There is no E lower lever. And there is no 3rd string G#. (Read the replies from kd and BE on the Bar Chatter thread--"Historically Authentic Tab".
Of course, you may not care if it's right or wrong, so long as it sounds reasonable. I think my tab sounds reasonable. But there's some cool stuff to discover, playing this no higher than the 4th string E, with no knees.
