This is a nice bar slanting walk up from C to F; it starts with the G/7.

Interesting tab, and interesting tuning. Usually when looking at non-pedal tab I think of the 6 strings, bottom to top, as being C E G A C E. I think that's the way Jerry Byrd does it for the standard C6th. I think there's less of a standard for non-pedal than pedalsteel.

Hey Dean; that is the standard C6th tuning. Just take the inside six strings and that is what you have. The 8-string version of that is just extended with the extra 5th on top and extra 6th on bottom. That is THE C6th or A minor/7 tuning. I'm gunna start concentrating more tab for the no-pedal steel; only prob is there are so many different tunings folks are using; but the intervals of that tuning above is the same for most favorite no-pedal tunings/with some small exceptions.
