You mean the whole song? That'd be alot of tab. You know it's been years and I still remember that stuff. Buddy Cage was one of my all time heroes......still is! |

Jeff, The intro would be great and maybe some insight regarding the basic playing style of the song. thanks ,guitar543

Man, Buddy had the 'happiest', bouncy style that sounded deceptively simple. I cut my steel teeth on that guy and to play that style and make it that clean was really quite a challenge for me, but it had as much to do with how I play now as anyone I listened to back then. I got the intro in my head, but for your sake I'll go dig out the album and see if I can't tab it note for note. Hang in there, I'll get to it! |

Maybe the song title provides some insight regarding the basic playing style of the song. |

Buddy was a big influence of mine as well. I've been looking for tab of his and Bobby Black's for a while. Buddy actually traded some email with me and directed me to some web sites, but there wasn't any tab there. Tom Bradshaw indicated to me that he had never seen any tab for either artists work, so I guess we'll have to depend on the generosity of folks like Jeff.
Much thanks!
Oh-yeah that's what the song is about. It was written by Peter Rowan and was originally a bluegrass tune. I've heard Vassar Clements perform it live, and THAT's interesting.
John
Buddy can be found at www.stirfried.com in what's called the "Cage Corner" A tour schedule is posted there as well. They're heading west in April. |

JB, yes Peter Rowan wrote it, and seeing HIM do it live is REALLY a treat. He's got a long warm up story to go with it that you can't truly appreciate without a toke or two.
