I wish I could say I thought this up, but it's from something that Buddy E. played. It makes a nice chorus.
The trick is to let the notes ring, and blend into one another. In the first measure, you only pluck strings 1,3, & 4, once. I've continued them on, as sometimes you have to drop/add a pedal after it's rung a bit.
