Back in the late 60's, Ralph did an album with James Burton, "Corn Pickin' and Slick Slidin'". It was released on CD several years ago. Now, where to find it is anyone's guess. I have a copy, if you can't find it, I will "give" you a copy. Hope this helps. |

Thanks for you kind offer, but I do have the Burton/Mooney album - just thought there might be one or more soloalbums. Just got the Mike Headrick album where Mooney is featured on a few tracks.....

Ralph also plays a few nice solo's on Red Kilby's cd.
Red's a member here so if you don't have a copy yet just ask Red.I think he will have some left.

Ralph has an album out called "The Toppa Sessions" which features Gene Davis on lead guitar and some vocals. It's a pretty cool CD. I'm not sure if b0b has them on the Forum or not. I don't remember where I got mine but I play it quite a bit. Ralph opens it with an instrumental called "Okie" which is pretty cool. He'll always be my #1 favorite....JH

I just checked the Forum catalog and it's not on there but the "Corn Pickin' and Slick Slidin" CD is on there. I have the other CD with me now and it's titled "Moon at Midnight" the Toppa Sessions and was put out in August of 1997 Here's some info from the inside of the CD:
Toppa Records
1898 N.W.Davidson
Terre Bonne, OR 97760
9 Music Square So., Suite #334
Nashville, TN 37203
There's no CD number on it though. An interesting fact, the acoustic guitar player is Frank Arnett another fine steel guitarist.
