I hear some quite rumblings , about a Dobro Meet ,around Austin Tex. .Invitation only , lucky people.

We need a lot more of them around the country. There`s some of the most beautiful music ever made , played on these accoustic steel guitars.

We`re all still calling them all " DOBRO`s". I try not do that because mine is not a DOBRO, .not a coke either.

Didn`t intend to start something . I just believe we ought to try promoting more accoustic steel meets around the country. If you use a steel to play it ,it`s a steel guitar.

R.L., I think you're speaking of the "Resofest" that takes place in early January in Austin, Tx.

I don't know anything else about that festival. Does anybody know of this?

I haven't heard of this before, but I think I'd be interested in attending such a thing. Pedal steel guitarists have their jam sessions and conventions - why can't Dobro® and resophonic players have theirs?

The Benoit's are going this year! This will be a great opportunity for those reso players that don't go to any steel guitar convention to see his guitars.

Great idea, Gary! Does that mean I should leave my National out on the deck for a couple of days?
