Please can anyone help me,i am in urgent need of a Carter changer finger tripple raise double lower,i only need one,i have asked Carter if they could help me but they won`t because i cant give them the S/# of the guitar the changer came off.It was taken off a D10 because the guy did not play C6,so i bought the changer and headstock from him,and didn`t notice there was a finger missing untill i installed it in the body i had made.I have all the string rollers on the changer and i know i could still use it ok and do with out the first string raise but i would like to have the changer complete,so if any of you good members can help me i would be very gratefull.

God bless JG

Jimmy,

If you could contact the guy you bought the changer and keyhead and get the serial number from him and email it to Carter i am sure that they would send you one. The reason they probably want the serial number is so that they can make sure you get the correct finger for that changer. Let us know what happens. If all else fails take a sample to a machine shop and they will make you a replica.

Ray&Jim,thanks for you reply about my fingers,i only use 2 fingers and a thumb to play steel,i aint clever enough to use 3 fingers, and as far as giving me the finger i now have 10 new ones and 9 old ones,so i could say i have been well and truely fingered ,and it didn`t hurt a bit.
