I'm looking for recommendations for purchasing Jimmy Day recordings. What are your favorites?

Listen to Johnny Bush's version of Farewell Party...the solo played by Jimmy Day is out of this world!

Check out the Jimmy Day colletion here that Bob Lee offers on the Steel Guitar Forum. It's classic DAy all the way and I believe some of Jimmy's best.

A Master player of feeling and one we all loved!

I have a cassette titled "For Jimmy Day Fans Only" and it has a ton of stuff on it. I don't know if I bought it directly from Jimmy at a jam or maybe from Scotty. At least, you know what to ask for and it would be a must for any Jimmy Day fan (and who isn't).

There's a CD by BFR thats a reissue of two great albums on one CD.

The records are:
"Golden Steel Guitar Hits" and
"Steel and Strings". It also has a 20 page booklet. I got mine from the Texas Guitar Assoc.

BTW, I asked Jeff Newman your question a while ago. He said get "Steel and Strings".
