Hi Ron,
Good tip - and yep it is indeed an Airline lap steel, but not the "Rocket" model. The Airline Rocket (about 1963 vintage?) has quite the sporty design and I'm sure it would elevate me to a stratospheric level of exaltation in my band if I actually showed up with one!

Steve,
I'm a tech at a music store and there is one in there for sale. I don't know what he wants for it and he's at the NAMM show now. I think he might be open tomorrow, if not Tuesday.
When he gets back I'll put you in contact with him.

Ron - yep, 'zackly!
Rick - cool, thanks for the tip; I'll give 'em a call tomorrow. Seems appropriate to find a spaceship-shaped guitar at "Gravity Music".
Jay - it would be fun to find one so near my hometown (Sac). Thanks, and let me know!

Appreciate y'alls help,
Steve
