Suppose I wanted to add an external speaker cab with a 12” that I could plug into either an original session 400 with 15” (1501 bw) or pv ltd with a 15” evans speaker. I think each of those amps are designed for 4 ohm load.

Looking for any ideas on how to make this happen. Should I consider a crossover network?

Should I switch to 8ohm speakers so they can be parallel and still deliver 4ohm load?

Or should I take it to a custom amplifier technician and let them build electronics to make this work.?

Or forget it and be happy with what I have??

Best practice would be to use two 8 ohm speakers
