I have a 10 string 3 pedal left-handed steel guitar from the Jackson Pedal Steel Company. I purchased the pedal guitar in 2023. I'm having an issue with tuning and I hope you can help.
I can tune the pedal guitar with open tuning but having trouble with tuning going from b to c sharp with the foot pedals. When I try to turn the nylon hex tuning nut with tuning wrench, I can't get it to turn either way. What can be the problem?
Thanks,
William |

You may want to try gently warming the nylon tuning nut up with a hair dryer. That may cause the nut to expand enough to allow it to turn as it should. |

When you get it tuning nut warmed up, And turning on the rod, Remove the tuning nut from the pull rod, And rub the rod threads with Bee's Wax, Paraffin or Candle Wax. |
