This is Keith's oldest, Cory.
Thanks for posting this, Tim.
I wanted to thank you all for the interactions you had with my Dad. His time with you folks, his steel guitars, and his time on the stage filled his life with joy.
I will leave my email address here if any of you would like to reach out.

Very sorry to hear, condolences to the family
Cory,
I only met Keith one time,
I was doing a seminar for pedal steel in Saskatoon
Long and Mcquade
Your Dad saw I was struggling a bit, came over in the intermission
And gently advised be to take it down a notch, more fundamentals,
All the while encouraging, and excited about the day,
His advice relaxed me as well,
I could tell he was a good instructor, and fine man.

This is Cory again - one last post.
A link has been added to the Obituary to livestream the service should you want to.
Thanks for the kind words. I am pretty confident that Dad would want you all to keep pickin' and a grinnin'.
All the best. Thanks again for sharing his passion. |
