Capable of operating on six AA batteries or the included 120VAC power supply, this amp has two channels with their own quality effects and capable of accepting microphones or instruments, several amp modeling options, a headphone jack that also operates as an excellent stereo line out, an Aux input for external program that DOES NOT add effects to it, and stereo 5" speakers in a tilt-back cabinet. Did I mention it's a killer preamp for recording or driving powered speakers? Rather...

This is one of two that I bought new in 2000 for a busking project that never came to fruition. I've kept one at home for use with headphones in practice and recording. This one is a spare, and has been used for most of the studio recordings that I have done over the past few years and nothing else, including on these two tracks:

With Jon Lindahl

With Sons of Hudson

$180 plus the ride to CONUSA, talk to me if you prefer to rendezvous in person.

I'm a fan of the Cube Street. Great grab-and-go amp tailored for busking, living room parties, and such. Plenty of sound options for the instrument channel, and it has an internal limiter circuit that keeps the clean sounds clean when you push the volume. The mic channel is separate with its own EQ and reverb controls. I use this amp for a recurring summer duo/trio gig on a harbor cruise in a reproduction antique cargo boat (no onboard electricity). I have three and I bring one for each band member. (It's my partial payback for all the other gigs I play with them where they bring the PA.) I can put them all into a single large rolling duffel! I use rechargeable AA batteries, good for two or three gigs on one charge, but I always recharge before a gig anyway. Great amp to have in your toolkit.
