Hi everyone. With a heavy heart that I have lost nearly everything in the Eaton fire in Altadena, CA. My studio, pedal steel, guitars, amps, computer, recording gear, all gone in a flash.

I was in love with my Sierra 4x4 S10 and would ideally love to track down another one. However if anyone can point me toward another S10 to buy, I'd be grateful to have a look.

Thanks so much all ❤️
Dan

So sorry about this loss. Devastating for so many.

I saw a GFI S10 on Craigslist in Santa Cruz. I have one and love it. 3x4 but you can add a pedal.

I’m so sorry, that’s heart breaking. I think there’s some steels on Steel guitars of north country’s website. I’m looking for something for myself, and saw they have a few guitars available. I’m not affiliated with them at all, but just looking. They have a Carter single neck that looks nice and a few Sierras.

So sorry to hear this - I can't imagine. I hope you are hanging in there. I will keep my eyes out for any Sierras being sold!

Terrible. Of course being a pedal steel player I was thinking surely someone lost theirs in the fires. Good Luck.

I’m so sorry you lost your gear. It takes so long to acquire stuff that you really like and then to have it gone in one fell swoop is just devastating. Prayers for you.

I share everyone elses sentiments. I don't have a guitar, but I might have some cables, accesories etc. I'm happy to help out if I can.

Must be very frustrating even just looking for a place to stay right now.

Thank you all for the kind messages. My family and I are safe with family in San Diego and are staying put here for now. The greater SoCal steel community has been so supportive and I have more than enough steel loaner offers to hold me over for a while. Ross from Sierra has offered to help me out, I feel so grateful.

Thanks again for all your words of support ❤️

Dan,
I know exactly how you feel. I lost my Mullen and a complete studio in my home in the Ventura Thomas fire in 2017.
All I can say is stay strong, and rebuild if possible.
You can and will come back stronger than before.
Best,

John

there are many places to look but i would hit the national craigslist. facebook sometimes pans out but i would shy away from reverb and such, although a last of last stomping grounds. i put it along side ebay, tooooooo many crackpots.
