Hello fellow Steelers! It is that time again!! Just a quick note about the Phoenix Steel show. I will have an E9th seminar, and my friend Travis Toy messaged me last night and we talked. He will stop by and spend some time with us and he is gonna do some amazing teaching. He always stops by my Dallas classes and is always a big hit with the students. The class will be mostly mid-level in player skill, but also some advanced licks and techniques. Everyone should be able to learn and play this song with some practice and dedication to technique. Those who attended last years seminar were all excellent players. This year I've picked the song: Four in The Morning, a Faron Young tune. It is not too fast, with well thought out licks to develop your timing, touch, and overall ability to sound nice and in tune. This tune is a waltz and should flow smoothly and reflect your bar hand, and you should be able to work on classic pick hand grips which will help you now, as well as down the road. All great players usually have at least one waltz in their set at the shows.

As always, you are welcome to video the class so you can review and remember what we covered. Especially, video Travis's segment...which will be excellent.
I look forward to seeing everyone there!

PS....I'll be bringing a Mullen G2 single neck for sale, with 4 floor pedals and 5 knee levers. A beautiful steel. See it at the show.

as always, Let's get together and steel something!
Please let me know if you are interested.
Thank you,

Larry Toliver

Sounds good Greg! I look forward to seeing you! It should be a good class. I've already spent a lot of time on the tablature. THere'll be the melody and improvisation all tabbed out. I think everyone will be happy with this one!
See you then!

I found this in my notes and tabs and decided to add this to the booklet of tabs and cd for the Phoenix Show. It is an outstanding song for the steel.

See Ya'll there! It'll be a blast.
