Tommy's work is impeccable and nothing leaves his shop unless it's perfect. This latest "street rod" is another eye-catcher and I know sounds fantastic.
Happy New Year, my friend! |

Gorgeous steel.
I like the idea of having both the half step and full step B string lowers on different levers. Is tuning that half stop at all an issue? Seems like it could be a pain reaching the adjustment down on the push rod. _________________ US Navy Band Country Current

The PP design pretty much requires some under-body tuning nuts for some combinations. Tommy set my PP up with similar half-stop mechanisms, it took me a while but I eventually learned to find and adjust them by feel. |

I'll add my praise of Tommy's work. He added a couple levers and set-up my '69 Rosewood D-10 a couple years ago. It now has 8 & 7. It fits me perfectly and plays perfectly !! Tom's a great guy and craftsman. Hope you're well Tommy !!! |

He’s the best! He helped me buy my first guitar in 1972-a ‘69 Emmons with no knees. He added the first five knees right after. 50 years later he rebuilt that same guitar for me and it’s amazing. My ‘69 is two serial numbers apart from Tiny’s, so both our guitars we most likely on the same bench being birthed and on the same bench 50 years later being rebirthed by Tommy! _________________ John Macy

Tommy, that’s an absolute masterpiece. Do you know what that weighs, approximately? I could probably lift it today, but tomorrow might be another day. Jerome,
Case weighs 18 lbs. 10.3 oz
Guitar in Case weighs 67 lbs 6.3 oz
If you round off the case to 19 lbs and guitar to 68 lbs. the guitar is appx. 49 lbs. out of case. |

Tommy, thanks. That’s actually manageable. Less than I thought, considering all the plumbing underneath! Let me put some more thought into it as I watch some football this weekend.
