My Blues on Sunday Quartet residency with former Broadcaster and James Cotton sideman Per Hanson recently featured the Ward brothers as special guests: Michael “Mudcat” Ward from Sugar Ray and the Bluetones on bass and Peter “Hi-Fi” Ward from Ronnie Earl’s Broadcasters on guitar. Peter does a beautiful arrangement of Django’s classic “Nuages” on his Stratocaster. I played piano for most of the show but for this number I complemented his guitar on my Jackson 8-string console. Enjoy!
