Good Day
I have a Birdseye Maple Shobud Universal 12 for sale. I had it rebuilt by Indy machinist John Coop (RIP) back around 2007. It is a very solid guitar and set up with a modified Larry Bell Copedant (see below). I have done studio work and about 6 years of gigging on this rig. A new opportunity to play again and I can't lift it up anymore as a result of some idiot running into me and my wife. I have had to go back to an '89 Zum u12. Look at the pics and if you need more information just send me an email. or call. I am asking 4600.00. Buyer pays for shipping. There is some extras. A ShoBud volume pedal and a knee lever kit too.

WOW!!!! that U-12 is Priceless. My ole steel-partner John Coop did all that and those are still the horizontal moving changer fingers and yes Adjustable Curved knee levers and round crossbars with two-hole pullers and Coop always used 1/8" stainless rods so there is NO FLEX,,,I can tell you this Steel plays PERFECTLY and better/consistent than any pedal steel you've played EVER...as that was John Coop...I sure miss my ole-machinist-partner; but LOOK AT THAT Sho~Bud> he still LIVES ON!!

Yes; but it would take another rod and roller on that puller that is lowering. That rod would be your split tune and making sure there's no raise spring on the fingers you want to lower whole tone with split tune; basically you are adding a extra raise rod on that lowering puller. So if you have the parts; have fun...ah..ha....this is what I do for a part time living; so I can do it or coach ya through it.

First pic is Horizontal moving raise and lower pivoting sections(earlier model).
Second pic is vertical moving raise and lower pivoting sections(later model).

No the next series they made were the double raise single lower and those are the horizontal moving like the single singles, then Paul Franklin Sr invented and made and they were the best made vertical moving double raised double lowers and he only put those on the 1977 shobuds and then when they went to Super Pro that was the triple double ,,same Theory but the way Paul Senior mounted those and pivoted those that he made move better than anything.

I'm not the one selling this 12-string for sale top of this thread. But not sure what superpro you are asking about; there is NOT ONE HERE in this Thread. That is a Custom 12-string Sho~bud and all parts are/were made by machinist John Coop that passed away; but we worked together and all parts are patterned after the PRO~II Custom and there is NO POT METAL on this 12-string.
