Very nice 1974 Sho-Bud 3X3. Emmons E9 set up E's on left. Also comes with Sho-Bud volume pedal, vintage catalogs, price sheets and un-opened set of SB strings. There are some chips in the clear coat that do not show up in the pictures, but over all a very clean 6139.
The original case is in excellent condition.
$2,975 plus shipping.

Wow; with that Green Tint added to the underneath, usually white Texture; means it was Born within the "first year" of the new Green LDG > May '73 to May '74 and I looked up this serial number and it was indeed made March 1974. It still has original Racks so it was a Customer ordered Single-10 Professional(is what they called the Single rack&barrel); even though at that time; the new "Pro~II" series was out with round Crossbars with two-hole pullers pulling the Barrels; like the first year LDG's."
There ya go I little history for you and this still has the greatest sounding 6061 aluminum finger tops ShoBud EVER made and looks like the Bill Lawrence 705 pickup(awesome) and the most precise Fretboard sho-bud ever made. This Single-10 will blow any newly made Pedal steel guitar OFF THE STAGE.....PERIOD !!!!
Very very nice.

Beautiful Sho-Bud here and would make nice Christmas present for someone.

These Steel Guitars were very well made and sound great too! Someone needs to snatch this one up quick.

Merry Christmas!

No it's Completely Wrong!! That calculator only compares "Prices" and does not Compare Materials and Machines and Casting in order to make the exact item currently as the item in 1974> Impossible; therefore the material and machines and castings used today that are NOT AROUND from 1974 are highly expensive modern made and sound exactly like that. So Build the 5000.00 dollar inflation dependent item and the 1974 item will still blow it off the stage and so the Sound from 1974 is not and will never be able to be compared in ANY WAY to 2024 sound; price; playability; looks...etc...etc...so comparing just the cost in '74 to current is a waste of time.

Let's not start analyzing prices. Price is what the seller wants and what a buyer wants to pay.thats why people don't list there asking price. Don't want folks picking it apart. JMO

I wasn't trying to pick apart the pricing. It's a more than fair price as listed. Only was trying to get some perspective because new pedal steels seem so ungodly expensive.
