Ok I don't want to sound dumb but I have seen some folks advertise pickups with quick connecters for an easy swap out. Im not talking about MSA pickups but regular pickups. Where can I find these small quick connecters they refer too. Thanks

I have these. I use them on some guitars, don't bother on others. You will need to bore out the wiring hole in the cavity to pass this through. But not a whole lot. They are quite small.

If you tend to be a pickup swapper, they can make sense. If there's a one in ten chance you may want to change pickups in the future, I can't say this saves that much work vs just direct wiring the pickups.
I find that the most labor intensive and annoying part of pickup installation is the physical attachment of the pickup to the cavity which is why the MSA and (old) Sierra system is so great.

But bottom line, they work fine.

Thank you Jon Im not so much a swapper but would like to change pickups on a older Emmons and would rather clip the wires rather than get into that switch board and start using a solder gun around that thing

That makes a LOT of sense. I definitely see great advantage in using this as a means to avoiding such tight-quarters soldering work.
