Hi there, just wondered if anyone had any info on this particular model/configuration, don't think I've seen a double neck of this Ricky model before but have to assume if there's one hen there's bound to be others

| Interesting; someone took a pair of steels, cut them up, and welded them together. Whoever it was, it wasn't done by Rickenbacker. Rick did make double-necks going back to the early '40s, maybe earlier, but they were quite different from this. |

Saw it … bought it here on the forum. That’s all the history I know.
I will say that the painting was done after the joining together … the enameled gray paint is continuous ...
The big issue is there are no supports (wood blocks)!under the bridges and they have “caved in” some … |

That top photo looks like the Model that Columbus found in the Caribbean and took back as treasure to the Queen.

Awesome - looks factory to me but what do I know? Just don’t see any welds and the finish being continuous reminds me of mine which looks similar in shape/connection of bodies but I could be missing something for certain / I’ve got a triple neck where each 8 string is a bit higher than the last. It’s huge, about as big as a quad master. I need legs for it but the sockets are very small.
Pics of both of those things, in case someone can help with legs this size and to show what my double neck electro Rickenbacher model looks like:

If anyone knows what model this is, it’s 50s with a K in the name and I assume the sticker with additional text is whoever owned its name) - it is missing all four legs, and I’ve tried all types from various screw in furniture legs (out of desperation) to rogue and all kinds of modern legs (rogue, etc legs are very close but not quite a fit for the sockets… I know I could remove them but am trying to avoid that if I can. If you are able, help and take a look at what I’ve got to work with - she’s a beauty and I feel like I got a score on it, but perhaps the missing legs make it not such a score!
