Hi there, just wondered if anyone had any info on this particular model/configuration, don't think I've seen a double neck of this Ricky model before but have to assume if there's one hen there's bound to be others

Interesting; someone took a pair of steels, cut them up, and welded them together. Whoever it was, it wasn't done by Rickenbacker. Rick did make double-necks going back to the early '40s, maybe earlier, but they were quite different from this. |

Saw it … bought it here on the forum. That’s all the history I know.
I will say that the painting was done after the joining together … the enameled gray paint is continuous ...
The big issue is there are no supports (wood blocks)!under the bridges and they have “caved in” some … |

That top photo looks like the Model that Columbus found in the Caribbean and took back as treasure to the Queen.
