Part of my excuse for wearing boots is I double on guitar. Socks or sneakers or slippers with jeans, dress shirt n vest —- not a great look when yer in the upright position. |

This was a topic years ago when I started and thought to myself that I would play in whatever I had on(hell or highwater). I can practice in sock feet but play in cowboy boots, shoes, running shoes even boots when I have to. |

Often, a little adjustment to the rear legs can compensate for heel size, but if one has two left left knee levers, for example, one accessed like normal and a second one further in towards the pedal rack, consistent leg position might be be an issue for some, leading to wanting to use the same footwear.
I wonder if there's any steeler that wears two different shoes? _________________ Excel 3/4 Pedal With An 8 String Hawaiian Neck, Sierra Tapper (10 string with a raised fretboard to fret with fingers), Single neck Fessenden 3/5

Did you know that “Manley Footware” was the moniker given to BJ Cole when he played with the satirical(but very good) British Country group Hank Wangford Band? Everyone in the band had a “secret identity”. I saw them at Dingwall’s in London when I was knocking around England in 1982.
I like wearing loafers or running shoes(if they have fairly thin soles) while playing. I don’t feel great in cowboy boots because they restrict ankle movement and the hard leather soles make it difficult to feel the pedals. Glad I never played with Ernest Tubb! _________________ KEVIN MAUL: Airline, Beard, Clinesmith, Donner, Evans, Excel, Fender, Fluger, GFI, Gibson, Hilton, Ibanez, Justice, K+K, Live Strings, MOYO, National, Oahu, Peterson, Quilter, Rickenbacher, Sho~Bud, Supro, TC, Ultimate, VHT, Williams, X-otic, Yamaha, ZKing. |

Saturday night I wore a pair of those square toed cowboy boots that make your feet look like those of a duck, but boat or deck shoes work better for me…so I don’t end up mashing three pedals at a time… |

This is exactly what I have worn for 20 years. Same brand, same style.
Heck, I wear them all the time at home. _________________ RICK ABBOTT

Twenty-year-old Ropers. They are as soft as loafers or boat shoes or sneakers.

Wore various cowboy boots for years and years. Finally had to go to Skechers due to aging feet, but they're black so as to be inconspicuous. Been dressing somewhat western on the gig all this time and white sneakers aren't a good look for that..
More cowboy, less cosmic please. |

I am hooked on Stacy Adams shoes with cap toe.
On my Mullen, ankle twists such as A pedal only with E lever right or B pedal only with E lever left and others-this is the shoe that works best for me. |

I have 3 pairs of Sketchers, black, gray, and brown.
My feet love them. I even wear them to the office, with Dockers.
