Early 1970 pp restored a few years ago by Tommy Cass and set up last year by Kelcey at Emmons. Guitar plays great and sounds great, even though it is a fatback, it has that classic tone of an early Emmons. It has the polished undercarrige as well. 8 pedals and 7 knees. Emmons setup and it has a split on the 6th string. No issues or flaws whatsoever. My only reason for selling is I want another P/P. I would consider trades for an earlier P/P, bolt or cuttail preferably. Thanks for looking!
Price is $5000, buyer pays shipping or will meet within 100 miles to deliver. I am on the road until Tuesday 11-22 but will take some more pictures upon request. I will also post the copedent as soon as I get back home.

Austin could explain what the extra pull on string 6 by the A pedal is for.
Thanks.

Hey George... that extra pull you mention is for the "trick" tunable split on the 6th string. Tommy Cass installed it on my '69, decal, rosewood D-10 a few years back and it works perfectly. I too have 8 & 7 on my guitar.
Nice looking horn Austin. I bet it sounds and plays great. Good luck with the sale (or trade) man !! |
