When a dobro dude from Washington state shows up at a bluegrass jam in Frederick MD and after an introduction we discover our mutual connection with the Steel Guitar Forum.

A pleasure meeting you, Brian McGaughey. A fine player.

Enjoy your retirement and safe travels!!

Howard

As some would say, "We went to different schools together."

Brian and I worked together in radio back in the mid 1970's. Really a good guy and lots of fun to work with.
I wasn't playing steel then and Brian wasn't either.
I'm not surprised he made friends out of strangers.
Enjoy your retirement Brian.
