Pedal steel guitars were made up from alot of different ideas , the end plate tuning nuts were invented from using nylon Hex Female Standoff Plastic computer Mounts
anybody can purchase them online cheep , just use 3/16" x say 3/4" x 7/32" for 1/8" pull rods "which is just 1/8" welding rod" everything was just thunk up and people are still using new ideas
